This competition is run in Victoria by JMC Academy. This competition is open to all Victorian high school students. To enter this competition, entrants must complete a three to five minute short film and entry form and return these to JMC Academy, 169 Bank Street, South Melbourne, 3205 (ATTN: Greg Toolen), no later than the close of business 23rd of November, 2011. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition. The prize will consist of the following: one Flip mino HD camcorder, four tickets to the 2011 Martini Awards, held at the Astor Theatre on the 25th of November, 2011, at which the winning film will be screened, air time to discuss your project submission and win on radio station KISS FM, a one year subscription to EMPIRE magazine and an interview and article on your project in an upcoming issue of EMPIRE magazine. If the advertised model is no longer available at the time when the prize is awarded, or for any other reason or in any other circumstance, we may, at our discretion, substitute the cash equivalent or model of equal or greater value. The winner will be selected by a panel of industry professional judges arranged by the organisers of the 2011 Martini Awards on the 24th of November, 2011. The winner will be notified within 24 hours by phone. Details of the winner will be displayed on www.jmcacademy.edu.au and www.themartiniawards.com website.
