The 2011 Martini Awards is giving the opportunity for the best and brightest school filmmakers to be showcased to the local media industry. All you need is to show us your best 3-5 minute film.
The JMC Academy Martini Awards is a not for profit festival. Our main aim is to showcase current and past students work to the domestic Film and Television industry and local filmbuffs.
The JMC Academy Martini Awards will be held on November 25th at The Astor Theatre. The Astor Theatre is a Melbourne icon that has been a staple in the Melbourne cinema industry for the past 74 years. Seating over 1100 patrons in a single art deco style theatre, the Astor retains, to this day, much of the charm that has made it such a popular destination for cinephiles over the decades.
Our extensive industry panel will judge all entries and the winning film will be screened on the night at The Astor Theatre in St Kilda
The winning film will recieve a FlipVideo MinoHD Camcorder, an interview on KissFM, an article in Empire Magazine along with a 12-month subscription, and four tickets to the 2011 Martini Awards
Conditions of Entry:
Entries must be submitted by 5pm Wednesday, November 23rd
